Are there recurring costs?

Yes. Surveillance audits in year 2 and year 3 cost about 60% of the initial certification-body fee each; recertification in year 3 is roughly the initial fee again.

Is there a government subsidy?

MSME units may claim reimbursement of ISO certification cost under the MSME ISO/HACCP scheme (up to 75% of the fee, capped) where the scheme is active in the state. We help with the paperwork.

Why are some providers quoting ₹5,000?

Those are unaccredited certificate mills. The certificate is not recognised by IAF, tenders or OEMs, and is often rejected outright.
