Frequently asked questions

Is ISO 9001 certification mandatory in India?
No, but most PSU, OEM and government tenders list it as a qualifying criterion, and MSME units get 75% reimbursement of certification cost under the MSME ISO scheme where applicable.
How long is the certificate valid?
Three years, with a surveillance audit every 12 months. Recertification happens in year 3.
Can a 5-person company get ISO 9001?
Yes. The standard scales to any size; documentation is lighter for micro units.
Which certification body should I pick?
One accredited by an IAF member (NABCB in India, UKAS, JAS-ANZ). Unaccredited "certificate mills" are rejected by serious buyers.
Do you also do the audit?
No. We prepare you; the certification body audits independently. That separation is required by ISO 17021.
